Your privacy matters to us — and as a psychiatric and psychological practice, we treat the information you share with us with the highest level of care and discretion. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your own information.
What we collect
When you contact us — via WhatsApp, email, phone, or this website — we may collect your name, contact details, and the reason for your enquiry. If you go on to become a patient, we collect the clinical information necessary to deliver safe and effective psychiatric and psychological care: medical history, presenting concerns, prior diagnoses, medications, and any information shared during your consultations.
This website itself collects only the minimum data needed for it to function — basic visit information through anonymised analytics so we can improve the site. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange care.
- To deliver clinical assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
- To maintain accurate medical records as required by professional and regulatory standards in the United Arab Emirates.
- To communicate with you about appointments, prescriptions, and clinical follow-up — using the channel you prefer.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for any purpose other than your care, unless we are required to by law.
Who has access
Within IASO, your information is accessed only by the clinicians and administrative staff involved in your care, on a strict need-to-know basis. Your information is never shared outside the clinic without your explicit consent — with the only exception being situations where there is a serious risk to your safety or the safety of others, where a clinician has a professional and legal duty to act.
How we keep it secure
Clinical records are held in secure systems with restricted access. We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure — and we review those measures regularly as standards evolve.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask for incorrect information to be corrected.
- Request a copy of your records, in line with applicable laws and clinical guidance.
- Withdraw any consent you have given (this may affect our ability to continue providing care).
